Surf Buggys
while the choice du jour these days is a van, back in the day, surfers outfitted their respective rides with class and personality. I spotted this a couple years ago in a garage in manasquan. I am glad he got it going again and back into service. I can't believe these things were just laying around waiting to be rigged out

Great surf the past few days...
The surf around these parts has been ridiculously good for what feels like a week straight. Lots of offshore wind and and solid, barrelling waves. Got to ride pretty much everything but the alaia this week. Repaired the foam board with some stringers and lasted maybe three waves, but they were good ones. Returned last night to some chest high thumpers on my old friend the Bing Elevator. That thing is unbelievable in steep waves...killer boards and killer times

Lumber Yard Insulator Series Surf Craft
So I've been making these simple little surfboards from blue insulation I get from the lumber yard for $15. They are flat, fun as all get out and flex like mad. I dont attach any fins or anything and have had them out in some pretty serious surf and they hold amazing when you want them to and spin on cue which is kinda where I am at with surfing right now, flirting with kaos. Only drawback is durability.Often the board doesnt make it through the whole session. These things are probably the most fun I have ever had on a wave so I must be on to sumptin'
