Pile of scooter parts...

I recently acquired this pile of parts that used to be a scooter. In my quest, reread that obsession, with saving gas, I've been mulling over a scooter for summer surf missions. Last two nights have been consumed with piecing this thing back together. The photo is what it should look like, I'll be posting up pictures of its progress. Not only will this puppy be surf ready, but the cargo area will be modified to carry up to a dozen pounds of Harry and Beans Coffee. In a couple weeks I hope to be mobile so feel free to wave me down and snag a pound or two ha ha ha

New to Harry and Beans Coffee, Sophisticated Sumatra Wahana!

Been experimenting at the not-so-secret Harry and Beans Coffee headquarters with a delicious new coffee Sumatra Wahana. As a straight, its a really nice cup of coffee. Medium to high acidity like a Kenya AA but still has the smoothness of a conventional Sumatra Mandheling. But what I really like about it is the way it compliments some of the new blends I am working on. Perhaps the most sophisticated straight I've ever experimented on...look for the new blends soon or stop by and test pilot some. Welcome to tourist season everyone, bring it on!

Yikes!!!! expensive coffee

Coffee prices have been soaring lately as it seems with everything else. This article shows that even the big boys are raising prices. Here at Harry and Beans Coffee, I will be trying to hold the line on radical price fluctuations and have some ideas forthcoming that will save my customers some money in the very near future.

Happy Mother's Day!

Went out to see my mom & pop today with a new plant as always... beautiful day outside so I checked out the progress of my new(old) sissy bar my dad fabricated up for me, anyway it looks awesome with the square wrought iron. So I spent an hour or so in the gnats changing out my handlebars. The bike looks and handles much differently but it was waaay more comfortable, old-school bobber purists would certainly hate on me for stepping out of the box but I like it anyway
